Why should I buy a Vulcan Descaler?

Why should I buy a Vulcan Descaler ?

Energy and Water Efficiency Specialist

First of all, why do I need a Descaler and what size shall I use?

A regular size home with 2-6 bathrooms, normally uses a pipe not larger than 1” in diameter. A Vulcan 5000 with the capacity to treat 2,100 gallons of water per hour will be the right size, to provide complete protection, to pipes, appliances and fixtures. Vulcan units are used on commercial and industrial buildings including hotels and apartment complexes. They have the capacity to effectively treat up to 60 grains of hardness, which is considered a very high amount of hardness, ussually present in  properties operating on well water.  Vulcan offers protection effectivity up to 1.2 miles from the installation point along your pipe system. Vulcan turns calcium and magnesium particles into crystals with a neutral static charge, making them physically incapable of building up scale. These crystals remain solubilized in the water, and will be washed away with the flow.  Depending on ambient temperature this crystalization effect can last up to 7 days after treated water exits your pipe system.

How does it descales?

The aggressive adhesive properties of calcium and magnesium particles makes limestone buildup, an imposible problem to reverse on its own. Vulcan impulse treatment effectively stops limestone from continuing building up, while its powerful dissipating effects softens existing scale, layer by layer. The friction of the water, as it flows trough the pipe takes care of dissolving the presoftened buildup layers, as they are washed away in crystal shape.

The big oilyness feeling after showering using water from a salt water softener.

Allowing minerals to remain in the water is helpful to aid solubilizing soap oils and preventing those oils from sticking to your skin, hair and bathtub floors. The big oiliness feeling, after showering everyone complaints about when they use water from a salt softener, occurs because oil molecules do not bond with water, nor sodium. Oils need the minerals to be present in water to chemically blend-in. A salt water softener will remove all minerals and exchange them for sodium (salts). In the absence of minerals in your water, soap oils will be attacted by the static charge of your hair and body, as well as every other surface in your bathtub. Making bathroom floors unsafe, and creating that unconfortable oily feeling in your body after you shower. It is proven, using water from a salt water softener will double shower time. Wasting twice as much water. Vulcan water not only feels fresher and cleaner, but provides instant soap oil rinsing.

Vulcan Descaler - How does it Works?

Typical installation time on a Vulcan 5000 Descaler is 45-60 minutes

So the big question, why should I buy a Vulcan?

·           Vulcan is made with Solid-State Electronic Components made in Berlin Germany since 1986 by Christiani Wassertechnik GmbH (CWT) a 70 year old company established in 1948. There are many cheap imitations out there, but they don't perform nearly as well. Some of them with a “Made in USA” label are only assembled here. Using low-cost / low-quality parts made in China. Performance wise, none of them meet the effectiveness and endurance requirements of Commercial and Industrial Duty as the Vulcan Descaler. With a 30+ years useful life, our units are made to outlast the life of its original owner. You buy it once and use it for life. Vulcan units dont need maintenance, programming, replacement parts, chemicals, service checkups or any other hidden cost.

·           Vulcan holds numerous quality certifications by renowned international institutions such as, the German TÜV, the German CE, and the UL-Approval. Vulcan's technology has been Tested and Validated by Universities and Independent Laboratories like the Steinbeis Institute and Florida State University. Solid-State Technology. Vulcan units are waterproof and virtually undestructible by being encapsulated into an acrylic block.

·     Vulcan unique impulse technology alternate high and low frequencies in diverse patterns providing unmatched Descaling and Antiscaling results. While other products use common electrical wires, the Patented Vulcan Copper Impulse Bands are wider, longer and better, providing more contact area for effective Signal Transmission.

·       Unlike salt water softeners or other systems using filters, Vulcan is a portable product, light and compact. Easy to be moved to a new location, if you ever need to sell your property. As a Vulcan user, your unit will be covered with an International Replacement Warranty that will replace your Vulcan for the next 25 years, if it fails to operate. Since Vulcan units are encapsulated into an acrylic block there is no trouble shooting to be done on our end. Our warranty procedure is quick and simple, If one of the red led indicator lights stops blinking, that means the unit is defective, in that case, after receiving your defective unit, we will send you a new unit. No matter where you be living, your Vulcan will be covered anywhere by our distributor network around the globe.

·       The cost of manufacturing a Vulcan is higher than the actual cost of manufacturing a fine Swiss watch. Although, Vulcan’s price is modest in comparison, its usefulness is much higher by protecting your home investment from limescale damage in an automatic way, without having to perform any maintenance to the unit. Typical installation takes 45 minutes and no special tools are required. Just install and forget. If the Impulse Bands red indicator ligths are blinking, Vulcan is doing its work.

If craftsmanship, quality and performance are important to you,

then Vulcan is the right product. No hidden costs. Buy it once, use it for life.
